This is a street light produced by the Pacific Lighting and Standard company that is part of the RW series. This LIght was created for areas where dark sky regulations are enforced. These were used widely in the vicinity of the Palomar telescope. This was so that the telescope could filter the light produced by the monochromatic light preoduced by the luminare’s targeted lighting technology. Around 2018, the cities in the region decided to switch their lighting to LED largely leaving The LPS street lights to survuve in small pockets either by the owners of the lights or the HOA who never converted.
