Captured in a building scouted in advance, the fourth scan was obtained near the Rotterdam-Zuid metro station. The striking layering of tags covering each floor of the abandoned six-storied building got the group to discuss the colorful annotations as a reminder of the passing of time. One specifically, saying Eid Mubarak, made a participant wonder if it was referring to the Eid al-Fitr celebration from a week ago giving the crumbling building a sense of recency and currentness. At the foot of the building, spray cans and DIY elevated platforms left behind were seen as a standing invitation to continue their previous users’ creative efforts.
