Bronze Age post excavated in 2021 by the Maritime rchaeology Trust. The post has a clear hole through the middle, potentially purposeful. It is also clearly shaped, with the bark and softwood removed and the sides flattened. This creates a wood timber similar to those we see made today. This post is undergoing further research and conservation currently.
