One of the 3 original rinascimental city gates of the city of Lucca in italy,
Built between 1565 and 1566 and designed by Alessandro Resta, was the main gate of the rin. walls.
The shield on top of the central opening is emblazoned with Saint Peter’s insigna, and above the lateral smaller openings are niches with lion statues (both lost the upper jaw). The ateral doors are a later addition, as the lion opening were originally used for the chains of the draw bridge. Above and on the sides are classical tympanum, the one in the middle with the word “Libertas”
This was a personal exercise for trying a photogrammetry of a large building (never again). Must say the back fron came out a bit of a mess, creating some problems with aligning the chunks (also the insides of the door were very annoying). All in all I think it came out acceptable
