More model informationI am currently building up my portfolio and decided to begin by creating a character from the ground up. This character is based on a concept I drew. I wanted the character to be stylized and resemble the look of Overwatch and similar stylized games.
Software used: - Zbrush - sculpting highpoly - Blender - Retopology for lowpoly, rigging + posing - Marmoset toolbag - Baking - Substance painter - Building materials
Being mainly an environment artist this was quite an undertaking. The whole process took roughly a month, working on it whenever I had time after work and on the weekends. Learned a lot about creating game-ready characters and about every step of the process.
