Sangliat Dol stone boat, Tanimbar, Indonesia3D Model
Located in the heart of the clifftop settlement of Sangliat Dol in Tanimbar, Maluku, this monumental stone boat (Natar Sori) (IDN-MLK-TMB-WTM-S-001-F-0001) is the ritual center of the village. It is consrtucted of carved stone blocks arranged into the form of an elliptical boat measuring 18 meters long by 10 meters wide filled with earth to form a raised platform. The structure is ornamented with finely engraved traditional motifs of spiral and geometric patterns, as well as a fish on the seaward-facing prow, and a bird on the stern. The boat serves as a place for ritual observacnes, dances, and communal meetings with stone seats within reserved for village elders.
