More model informationThe sarcophagus resembles a human figure wrapped in burial shrouds with an open face and arms crossed on the chest. The outside and inside are covered with colorful paintings depicting scenes of the future afterlife of the dead among the gods. Found in the Second Cache of Egyptian mummies at Deir el-Bahari and dated 21st dynasty (c. 1070–945 BCE).
