Scotland: Arbroath, Mortuary Chapel 3D Model
An entry for the Final Round of the 3Dflow World Cup 2019.
Model type: urban; small scale, high detail.
Model was derived from >5K photographs. Multiple Sparse were established and then merged into the main file. First I started with ‘Orbit-far’ (~500 inputs), then generated+merged one ‘Orbit-near’ per side (i.e. for North side, East side, … each ~750 inputs). Sparse were then established for each feature, there was a separate photo set per feature (e.g. ‘doorway’, ‘alcove south’, ‘niche south-east’, …), and then each of these Sparse were merged with the main file. After that Dense and Textured was straightforward.
