Here is a personal project that I worked recently, a fan art of a World of Warcraft mount (Scrapforged Mechaspider), one of my favorite mounts in the game. I tried to apply a realistic approach from the original handpainted design and adapt some things that fit better with reality, like the leg support system, which in the game has nothing and suggests that it works with some kind of magnetism, so why not electromagnetism, which also serves to supply energy to the legs? Even with these changes i tried to keep the original Mechagon concept “You built this yourself”, which means you have to forge it with spare parts from the junk yard. I did all the modeling animations and render in Blender and textures in Substance Painter. Last but not least, is Gnomish engineering better than Goblin engineering?
