These assets were created as part of a scene I put together for this years Search For A Star competition.
The scene was a cheap motel set in the USA in the 1970s, so I tried to pick furniture that looked like it was from the time but also didn’t look too expensive.
This asset in particular was the main focal point of the scene so i didn’t feel too bad about upping the polycount a bit. It’s still a lot higher than I would like however as I struggled to get clean retopology on the quilt (Which I quite clearly exported from Marvelous Designer).
All texture work was done by me, some materials such as the wood and carpet were made from scratch in Substance Designer whereas others were simply layered up in Substance Painter. The assets themselves were all modelled in Maya.
