More information on Shanxi Site 021 - Huadu Temple, Daixian County can be found on our website https://shanxi-project.org/.

The remote villages of China’s Shanxi province are home to numerous Buddhist and Daoist temples containing undocumented wall-paintings and temple art that are now being recorded as part of the Shanxi Digital Documentation Project (SDDP). The project is funded by Arcadia - a charitable fund of Lisbet Rausing and Peter Baldwin in a collaboration between the University College London Centre for Applied Archaeology and ZJU Institute of Cultural Heritage. All models have been produced using the SDDP Standard Data Collection and Modeling Process using Agisoft Metashape.

The model for Site 021 was processed by Michael D’Aprix using 643 images collected with a Sony Alpha 7 III using SDDP standard data collection techniques.
