The model was shot using a drone and was generated from 26 8064 × 6048 pixel photos.
Material of use one 8K UV
On the UV side, I did some research to improve the utilization of texture pixels
- Avoid islands being cut too small (even if the spacing of a small island is equal to that of a large island, if there are many small islands then a lot of pixels are spent on the spacing, resulting in low utilization of the map. )
- Narrow the distance between the islands (narrowing the spacing is also a way to improve pixel efficiency but too small a spacing will overlap the islands in the game engine).
- Ensure the above two points at the same time to reduce UV deformation (Large distortions will cause obvious visual errors when baking normal AO maps).
