The Himalayan was first presented in 2016, but it wasn’t until 2018 that it became available in European dealerships. It is equipped with a 411cc air/oil-cooled, four-stroke, single-cylinder engine. It produces 24.5 hp at 6,500 rpm. This engine meets Euro 4 emissions standards and is designated LS410. The frame is a double-cradle steel design. Braking is provided by a disc brake at the front and a single-piston caliper at the rear, with 300mm and 240mm diameter discs at the front and rear, respectively. The Himalayan is popular with videographers and adventurers who undertake long road trips and motovlogs on it. For example, the Dutch rider Noraly Schoenmaker traveled from Argentina to Alaska via Patagonia[4], while the Frenchman Antoine Duval ventured into the Middle East.
