MV Hebat Allah (Hebbat Allah, Hebbath Allah, Hepathallah) was a 44m long coastal freighter built in France. In 2004 she was sunk by the Red Sea Diving Association, the Egyptian Navy, and the Red Sea Governor. It was intended to serve as another diving attraction. It took 4 years to clean the ship and find the right diving spot. Unfortunately they screwed up ๐ Instead of placing the wreck at a depth moderate for recreational divers, she was sunk in 46m of water. The maximum depth for recreational divers is 40m in Egypt. Therefore the wreck was forgotten and became a โlost placeโ for technical divers. I digitized the wreck during a dive and was able to render the first model on board the safari boat.
