More model informationRare example of a 19th-century shotgun house in Washington, DC. The date of first construction is not known, but predates 1850. Photogrammetry was completed in Agisoft Photoscan from 352 photographs. The roof was not visible at the time the photoset was taken; its approximate shape has been modeled in Autodesk Maya. Inconsistencies in the underlying photoset have undermined the accuracy of the model. Still, it gives a sense of the building’s shape, and the construction sequence, including three major construction episodes seen in the different roof shapes progressing from front to back.
