Shouchang Bridge runs north-south and is a single-hole solid belly arc stone arch bridge. The current bridge is about 50 meters long (the original bridge length is 32.85 meters), 9.45 meters high, 17.4 meters clear span, 7.16 meters high, 4.25 meters wide at the bridge base. The top surface is 2.74 meters wide and is divided layer by layer from bottom to top. It is the largest and best-preserved single-hole stone arch bridge from the Song Dynasty that has been discovered in Zhejiang and even the Yangtze River Delta region. The main structure of the bridge is complete and basically maintains its original appearance during the Southern Song Dynasty. It embodies the characteristics of arch bridges in the ancient Jiangnan water network area and the superb level of bridge construction technology. It is a precious physical example for studying stone arch bridges in the Song Dynasty.
