3D model of an iron blade from a wooden shovel or spade. Very few intact artefacts were found during the excavation. Anything in good shape or for indoor use was almost certainly utilised at the farm once the monastery had closed. Nonetheless, this square shaped blade, which is the cutting edge of a wooden shovel or spade, was found. It may have been used for work in the cloister garden or for digging graves.
