Mownt aloi copr addurnol crwn ar gyfer cysegr, o bosib o gysegr pren siâp tŷ o’r canoloesoedd cynnar, a ganfuwyd ger Din Llugwy, Ynys Môn. Yng nghanol y tu blaen, mae coler i ddal styden ambr neu wydr yn wreiddiol, gyda phatrwm o rimynnau pŵl yn ymledu o’i hamgylch. Mae’r rhan o amgylch y goler wedi’i haddurno â phlethwaith o glymau. Gwelir olion eurwaith ar yr wyneb. Ar y cefn, mae dau dab metel a fyddai wedi mynd drwy dyllau yn waliau’r cysegr.
A circular copper alloy decorative mount, probably from an early medieval wooden house-shaped shrine, found near Din Lligwy, Anglesey. On the front face at the centre is a recess or ‘collet’ originally for an amber or glass stud, surrounded by a pattern of faint radiating ridges. The area around the collet is decorated with an interlaced running knot pattern. Traces of gilding are visible on the surface. On the back are two metal tabs which would have passed through slots in the wall of the shrine.
