The sickle insert made of plate silex of the Altheim type was discovered during a rescue excavation. It was located in the vicinity of a bridge or a footbridge that extends from the former moraine island, on which the city of Buchau is today, to today’s Federseemoor. | Der Sicheleinsatz aus Plattensilex vom Typ Altheim wurde bei einer Rettungsgrabung entdeckt. Er befand sich im Umfeld einer Brücke oder eines Stegs, der sich von der ehemaligen Moräneninsel, auf der heute die Stadt Buchau liegt, ins heutige Federseemoor erstreckt.
