Sidewheeler Sea Bird was built in 1859 as a passenger steamer. It tragically burned and sank off Waukegan, Illinois killing some 72 to 100 passengers and crew with only three survivors. It was discovered by shipwreck hunter Harry Zych. The video for the model was shot in 2014 and repurposed for the model. The model is missing the boiler wreckage. This is a low res version of Sea Bird uploaded as an experiment for viewing on phones and tablets.
