More model informationSilver belt hanger from Nidajno bog, the site is located at Czaszkowo, Masuria, Poland. The area belongs to the Bogaczewska Culture zone but the object was imported. The animal decoration, depicting a fish, was made by gilding while the background is niello, a black mixture of copper, silver and lead sulfides. The belt ornament is dated to the Roman Period.
