This coin was found at the early Roman fort at Strutts Park, Derby, and was already decades old when it was deposited.
It features the helmeted head of Roma, the goddess symbolizing the city of Rome. The reverse shows Victory driving a three-horse chariot (triga), celebrating Roman military triumphs.
