This silver ingot was found with a metal detector at Scalpsie Bay, Isle of Bute, Scotland. It dates to the Viking period where the Norse traded, plundered and settled along the western and northern coasts and islands of Scotland. It has little nothces on the surface where it has been tested for purity of silver.
Size: approx. 10x1.5x1.5 cm
