More model informationI knife I made from some mixed ref on web. I recently got back into 3d modelling and this is the third model I make with texture. But this is the only one that satisfied me with the 3.
To make the model, I used Blender 2.8. For texturing, I used Quixel Suite 2.0 DDO.
As retopo technique I preferred the point-by-point one. Not just simplifying and merging edges, as the knife is just 1 whole block of model, without multiple meshes. This provided a more optimised geometry and gave me control over the actual structure and shading, better than having an approximation of geometries.
