Photo-Scan Sinter Particle from a Steel Works reconstructed in Agisoft.
Sinter is created from fines, iron ore, limstones, coke and other addiatives as a feed stock for the blast furance process.
The images where taken with a Sigma qD3 with a 50mm lens. the sample was on white paper on a turn table in a soft box with 5 LED lights providing illumination.
The samples had a set of images taken roughtly every 15 degrees with roughtly 5 images taken from a 0.3 to 0.5 meter focus for a range of focus pionts. I took 2 of the 3 axis for rotation before the sample was carlessly dropped, leaving a side with little information (See white section).
The jpegs taken for the same angle at different focal lenghts where photomerge and focus blended in photoshop and merged. The resulting images had the edges of the particle and background cut out before saving as tiffs for the agisoft.
Agisoft was run with default setings and extreme white sections where removed.
