Kalup sa sjekirom

Vučedol-Gradac (Vukovar). Kasno bakreno doba, 3. tisućljeće pr. Kr.

Bakrena sjekira: Duljina: 13,6 cm, Širina: 4,2-5,3 cm, Debljina: 1 cm, Inv. broj P-Vč 8012

Keramički kalup s pripadajućom bakrenom sjekirom pronađen je na lokalitetu Gradac na Vučedolu, 1938. godine. Metalurška djelatnost, iako poznata iz ranijih razdoblja, doživjela je svoj puni procvat upravo u vrijeme vučedolske kulture, kada se može govoriti o organiziranoj i specijaliziranoj djelatnosti.

Ceramic mould: Length: 18 cm, Width: 8.5 cm, Height: 4.3 cm, Inv. No. P-Vč 8013

Ceramic mould with associated copper axe were found at Gradac site on Vučedol, in 1938. Metallurgical activity, although known from earlier periods, reached its full bloom precisely in the time of the Vučedol culture, when we can talk about organized and specialized activity.
