More model informationHouse-1 at Skara Brae. Skara Brae, is a 4,500 year-old Neolithic village that was abandoned about 2500 BC and was continuously occupied for some 300 - 400 years. It is best preserved neolithic villages in tN Europe, with 8 houses and a work shop surviving intact with stine furniture still in place. The Orkeney Islansd, off the coast of N Scotland, were an enormously important and perhaps a centre of power at the time. Skra Brae is a World Heritage Site.
House-1 is one of the largest hosues surviving in the village and is one of the best preserved.
