More model informationSkirza Head Broch, Caithness, Scotland. Another broch excavated in the 1890s by Sir Francis Tress Barry. Situated on a promontory overlooking the sea. A hole just outside the broch on the south side has been suggested to be a collapsed chamber or souterrain, having carefully climbed down into it, I think it maybe something like a sink hole above a sea cave. A drain beneath the broch wall empties into this hole.
