The main building at Skogaholm’s manor is timbered in one floor with reveted facades. It has the six-part plan, modified through extra side chambers, a hall on the backside projecting from the façade with a raised ceiling and corner pavilions on each gable. The canopy with it´s columns marks the centrally located entrance. The building has a manor roof covered by wooden shingles, the tin roofs of the two corner pavilions are hipped. The building has two chimneys lined with sheets of copper. Centrally located in the upper roof slope, above the entrance, is a bell tower with a bell, wooden shingle roof and weather vane. The building was originally built in the 1680´s in a typical Swedish Baroque ; timbered in one floor, the façade painted in red, tiny windows with shutters painted in grey, pilasters enclosing the timber corners also painted in grey.
