More model informationIn 2019 several wooden shipwreck remains were found during construction works on the HES terminal (Mississippi harbor, Maasvlakte 1). These wrecks have been excavated and documented by a collaboration of 2 archaeological companies: ADC Archeoprojecten (projectleader W. Waldus) and BOOR (Projectleader P. Ploegaert). Slufter 7 (SL 7) was the first shipwreck that was found. The remains are in an excellent condition and consist of a part of the stern of a wooden merchant ship from the first half of the 18th century. Detailed information can be found in: BOOR rapporten 651, Rotterdam Maasvlakte 1 HES terminal.
