More model informationBattle, Slavic ax with historical ax head shape. 12-13th century. The battle ax of the ancient Slavs is similar to the usual carpenter’s ax, but often has a hole from the bottom, which closes the hand well when gripping under the blade. The Slavic ax is somewhat shorter and lighter than the Scandinavian. In it, just as in the Scandinavian ax, it was possible to beat with an ax like brass knuckles, but since it was much easier, it was more convenient for them to maneuver. Both infantrymen and horsemen were armed with an ax.
