More model informationIn 2015 a remarkable beach cobble modified to resemble a face was found by the Achill Archaeological Field School in a pit in at the ‘Cromlech’ Middle Bronze Age roundhouse at Slievemore, Achill Island. The find, excavated by Stuart Rathbone, is one of a small handful of anthropomorhpic artefacts from Bronze Age Ireland.
