Ceramic sailor figurine from Sweden. 1996. Bearing the artisan mark “B”, which allowed me to associate it with another model from 1994 (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/polka-dot-pirate-7d08cc66e4ec434b9a1268a8b9774a33) and conclude that this guy also came from Stockholm.

He’s trying to hide a bottle of ale behind his back. Maybe the captain of HMS Grog is not happy seeing his crew drinking anything other that the cheapest of sailor spirits?

The guy was informally called “Andrey” in the name of my uncle due to the likeness in their appearance. My parents also have the similar figurine.

Model created and decimated with Agisoft Metashape. Shot with Canon 2000d + 15-55mm kit lens.
