An “annotated” acupuncture training model made of a wooden core and covered in papier-mache, 475 x 165mm, Mid-Edo period. Annotations are concerned with the anatomy of the body that would enable the acupuncturist to measure distances for correct placement of the needles. Model is able to stand on its own. 3D model built from 223 photographs shot on an iPhone 11.
