Snow Leopard (NHMW-Zoo-MAMM B5555)3D Model
3D scan of a mounted skin of a snow leopard (Uncia uncia), one of the most threatened big cats on earth. Thanks to successful breeding programs, they can frequently be seen in zoos, but they are rarer in museums. This female snow leopard died in the Schönbrunn Zoo in Vienna in 1943 and was mounted at the NHM Vienna.
The snow leopard is Number 95 of the NHM Top 100 and can be found in Hall 38 of the NHM Vienna.
