While many Pokéballs are designed around their ability to catch wild Pokémon, some applications recquire tweaks on their actual use. Silph Co.’s Mk. 20 Mod 2 “Rapid Deployment Pokéball” is an excellent example of this, with an extended deployment range, faster operation, optimized durability, and compatibility with various Pokéball deployment devices. This is an example used by Coronet Team 3 of Snowpoint City, Sinnoh’s Pokémon Rangers. It features a camoflauge pattern optimized for Mt. Coronet’s snowy peaks as well as the tundra of Route 217 & 216.
