This building was built in 1930 in Jimbocho, Tokyo. It is was built to symbolize the reconstruction of the city of Tokyo after it was by the Great Kanto Earthquake in 1923, and it remained in place for about 90 years, surviving the air raids of World War II before being demolished in 2020.
