Like any Halloween character, our spider tried its best to be horrifying. It’s hollow, rubber body and jittering legs make the whole thing wobble and tremble at the slightest movement. Its namesake Artec Space Spider was not afraid though and bravely scanned it all in approximately 30 minutes. The object was set on a high stand, the legs hanging down in the air, and it scanned with much caution to avoid any movement of the legs or the body. We tried to have all the legs in the field of view of the scanner so as not to lose tracking.
