More model informationThe presented spindle was made of light-coloured and soft wood of deciduous tree (probably willow or poplar). It was made on a manual lathe by a woman from the Lingurari group (“spoon makers” in Romanian) living in the village of Ljulacze, north-east of Sofia. The lathe was also obtained for the District Museum in Tarnów.
