CT scan converted to 3D mesh using the free software InVesalius 3.0 (http://www.cti.gov.br/invesalius/) You can set the detection of the mesh/bone, in this version, the settings were too low, giving a glitchy effect.
I’ve used Meshlab (http://www.meshlab.net/) to clean the mesh, flip the normals and hence reducing the filesize from 150mb to about 30mb. Steps perfomed in Meshlab: * remove duplicate vertices * remove isolated pieces * simplification: quadric edge collapse decimation
