More model informationKENSINGTON COURT was built in 1927 as a British Steam Cargo Vessel of 4,863 tons and built by Napier & Miller Old Kilpatrick. She was powered by a steam engine and was a single screw steamer. She was owned by United British SS Co (halden & Philipps Ltd) London. In 1936 she was acquired by the COURT Line Ltd. On the 18th September 1939 she was on route from Rosario for Liverpool carrying 8,000 tons of cereals when she was sunk by gunfire from German submarine U-32 between the Fastnet and Bishops Rock.
