The wreck of the SS Nornen, a Norwegian barque which ran aground on 3rd March 1897 just to the north of the town of Berrow, Somerset. She was built in 1876 in Bordeaux and ended her career after being driven ashore by a severe storm.
The rescue of her 10 crew (plus a dog) was successfully carried out by the Burnham-On-Sea lifeboat before hitting the foreshore. She remains on the beach today and is a local landmark at low tide.
Images captured with a small DJI UAV in May 2019.
