St Adalbert (Wojciech) Hospital in Lublin3D ModelNoAI
The St Adalbert Church was built c. 1603 next to a hospital. It was replaced c. 1650 by a stone church built in the Renaissance style. The structure had a single nave and a semicircular chancel. In 1736 the church and hospital were given over to the care of the Daughters of Charity. In 1756 the church and convent underwent major renovations. In 1835 the Daughters of Charity left the church and the buildings were given to private owners. In 1923 the complex was given to a missionary order, who started a craftsman school. After World War 2 the church was used by the Hospitaller sisters before being turned over to the local diocese.
