The exterior and interior of St Andrews Church, Greensted, Essex, England.

Said to be the oldest wooden church in the world (http://www.greenstedchurch.org.uk/history.html) parts of St Andrews are made of split timber logs dated to 845AD (Historic England date). Excavations under the chancel revealed possible older wooden structures.
