Description: This full-body statuette depicts a standing woman in a contrapposto pose; weight placed on left leg, right leg placed slightly forward. Left hand/arm hangs at the hips, holding costume. Right arm is extended outwards, reaching away from the body. Costume features a chiton (tunic), himation (outer garment), hooded veil, and stephane (decorative crown). Hair is in a “Knidian coiffure,” characterized by a center part with braided locks. Made of pink to white buff clay; white slip decoration is visible. Some resrotation made; missing smaller pieces and the entire right arm, possible held a torch. Traces of yellow and purple pigment are seen on the lower portion chiton.
