Statue of a Boy with Pendant3D Model
The statue of a boy in Carrara marble without the head, the right forearm, and the left hand, all made separately and then assembled in their appropriate sockets. The feet are wearing calcei, a typical kind of short boot. Around the neck is a metal and leather pendant containing an amulet (bulla) that Roman boys wore until they reached the age of the toga virile (between 15-17 years old). Attributable to a boy from the Giulio-Claudia family, in the Augustan or Tiberian era.
