Statue of Man with Toga3D Model
A statue without head made in Carrara marble. The drapes of the toga are obliquely crossed by the balteus (Roman soldier’s belt) upon which the right hand is resting. The representation of the clothing is an important indication for determining the chronological time-scale, because it shows a time of change between the short and close-fitting toga exigua, that covered the arm leaving the hand free, to the fuller toga in use in the early Augustinian era.
