Stereoscope (NHMW-AFW-DING-0088)3D Model
3D scan of a Taxiphote stereoscope from around 1900. The Taxiphote was produced by the French company Jules Richard. It was modified around the year 2000 to be used with electric light instead of daylight and to handle modern stereo slide formats. The unmodified viewer allowed up to 24 stereo slides to be inserted and viewed one after the other.
The stereoscope is not on display and can be viewed by appointment.
