This is a model of the rear portion of the SS Emperor’s stern cabins and the fantail. The SS Emperor was a steel hull freighter that ran aground in 1947 near Isle Royale, MI. The portion of the wreck in this model sits in about 150’-135’ of water.

This model was built from about 20 minutes of video taken with a GoPro 4 and using two Big Blue 4200 video lights. The model is primary lit through ambient light.
