This is my still life composition for an assessment at school, regarding a course involving how to learn with texturing and modelling.
I intended to create a feel of staying up until the early morning, initiating in the process of making art. While I do find the concept of having two clocks to be a bit amusing, as well as one of them being broken (which ever it may be is up for interpretation), I wanted to challenge myself in making more complex models.
What I find pleasing when doing this project is my creative liberties in using a spotlight to create the illusion that there is a light illuminating from under the lampshade. On the downside, there was a rendering issue with part of the antique Winnie the Pooh themed clock, but I feel it does not hinder the quality of the composition.
